Magneton

Magneton are dual-type Pokémon. They were first introduced during Generation I. They are both Electric-type and Steel-type Pokémon. Before Generation II, they were exclusively Electric-type Pokémon.

They evolve from Magnemite starting at level 30. They evolve into Magnezone when they are leveled up in Special Magnetic Fields. They also evolve when they are exposed to Thunder Stones. They are usually found in the rough terrain near power plants.

Characteristics

Magneton is a robot-like Pokémon. They are the result of three Magnemite linking together with strong magnetic forces. A single Magnemite can also evolve when no other Magnemite is in the vicinity. Each individual Magnemite has a gray-colored body.

All three have the same horseshoe-shaped magnets on both sides of their eyes. The three Magnemite can be linked together in several ways. They are mostly seen in a triangular formation with one Magnemite on top and the other two on the bottom.

Magnetons weigh around 60 kilograms or 132 pounds and are 1 meter tall. The magnetic forces being used in Magneton are powerful enough to dry up moisture and raise the area’s temperature. They can also be disruptive to electronic devices. They use radio waves to study their surroundings.

As they are composed of three Magnemite, they are three times more powerful. However, they are not three times more intelligent. Even though they are mechanical creatures, they still need to feed. Their food consists of electrical currents. They often appear due to changes in the sun’s magnetic field. When it rains, they gather in areas prone to lightning from the sky.
