Cloyster

Cloyster is dual-type Pokémon. They are both water-type and ice-type Pokémon. They were first introduced in Generation I. They evolve from Shellder when they are exposed to Water Stones.

Characteristics

Cloyster is black-colored, pearl-like Pokémon. They have a light gray shell surrounded by a second blue-violet outer shell. They have one barb-like spike on their head and many horns on their outer shell.

They are large Pokémon and weigh 132.5 kilograms or 292.1 pounds. They are 1.5 meters tall and have a slow leveling rate. Their shells are harder than diamonds, but their spikes are even harder. This is because the harsh tidal currents affect the size and sharpness of these spikes.

They have a pearl-like face with two white eyes and a mouth. No one has ever seen Cloyster’s bodies except their heads and shells. It is physically impossible to open their shells once they shut themselves inside them.

Their impressive strength allows them to survive accidents like bomb blasts or missile strikes. They open their shells to attack their opponents. They can retaliate against all enemies even when tightly packed inside their shells. They launch their spikes at their foes and keep them repelled.

They also attack by clamping into their body with their signature clamp move. They use their projectile system for launching their spikes and swimming. Finally, they swallow seawater and eject it from their rear.

As they evolve because of an Evolution Stone, they are rarely ever found in the wild. Instead, they actively hunt for Slowpoke tails. Cloyster is commonly found on the seafloor, settled between rocks and corals.
