Abilities

    • Stench

This Pokémon's damaging moves have a 10% chance to make the target flinch with each hit if they do not already cause flinching as a secondary effect. This ability does not stack with a held item. Overworld: The wild encounter rate is halved while this Pokémon is first in the party.

    • Sticky-Hold

This Pokémon's hold item cannot be removed by other Pokémon. Damaging moves that would remove this Pokémon's item can still inflict damage against this Pokémon, e.g. knock off or pluck. This Pokémon can still use moves that involve the loss of its own item, e.g. fling or trick. Overworld: If the lead Pokémon has this ability, the encounter rate while fishing is increased.

Hidden Abilities

    • Poison-Touch

This Pokémon's contact moves have a 30% chance of poisoning the target with each hit. This counts as an extra effect for the purposes of shield dust. This ability takes effect before mummy.

  I'm feeling lucky!

Muk

Muk are poison-type Pokémon. Muk was first introduced to the Pokémon world during Generation I. They evolve from Grimer starting at Level 38.

The Alolan region has a modified form of Muk. They are both Poison-type and Dark-type Pokémon. They evolve from Alolan Grimer starting at Level 38.

Characteristics

Muk is large, purple-colored Pokémon. They have a sticky exterior. They have two small eyes with beady pupils. They have very large mouths with gray tongues. There are strands of ooze connecting their top and bottom jaws.

Even though they do not have any legs visible on their body, they have two long arms with three fingers in each. Muk usually keeps one hand tucked inside their body, and the other extends. They weigh around 30 kilograms or 66 pounds and are 1.2 meters tall.

Muk is dangerous to the environment. They leak toxins and instantly kill all the plants they touch. Whenever Muks are close to plants, they start to wilt and die.

Trainers are advised to be very cautious and avoid contact with these Pokémon. Accidentally touching these Pokémon can cause severe sickness.

Alolan Muk is more vibrant in color and has green, pink, and yellow stripes all over its body. They weigh around 52 kilograms or 114 pounds. They are 1.0 meters tall. Their stripes are capable of shifting downwards except blue.

They have crystallized poison in the form of shards on their body. Their coloration is a result of the garbage they eat. They have over a hundred different kinds of poisons.

They are quiet and friendly Pokémon. However, their crystals may break off and harm everyone as they are filled with toxins.
