Seel

Seel is water-type Pokémon. They were first introduced to the Pokémon world during Generation I. They evolve into Dewgong, starting at Level 34. They live in icebergs.

Characteristics

Seel is seal-like Pokémon. They have a bluish-white body covered in fur. Their fur is very thick. They have a pale tan maw with a huge tongue and a pair of sharp tusks on their lower jaws.

They have circular eyes and a black nose. Their nose is capable of closing itself while Seel is swimming. They have a small pointed horn on their foreheads. They use this horn along with their tusks to bore through ice floes.

They are large Pokémon and weigh around 90 kilograms or 198.4 pounds. They are 1.1 meters tall and have a Medium Fast leveling rate. They have two flippers on their chest and two more at the end of their tails. When their tails are raised, they resemble a waterspout.

Seel is usually found in frigid ocean waters and can withstand cold temperatures due to its thick fur. Their fur enables them to swim in cold water as well. These waters can be as cold as -40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Seel thrive in such cold environments and become more active as temperature drops. They are known to get tired in warm temperatures and during summers. They prefer to sleep during the day and hunt for their prey at night and during evening hours.

They are excellent swimmers. Their streamlined body and swimming tactics make them great hunters. They have no problem looking for food. Even though they are graceful swimmers, they have difficulty moving on dry land.
