Doduo
Doduo are dual-type Pokémon. They were first introduced in Generation I. They are both Normal-type and Flying-type Pokémon.
They evolve into Dodrio, starting at Level 31. Doduo lives in grasslands, savannahs, and open plains.
Characteristics
Doduo is two-headed Pokémon. They are brown colored, and each head has a long, sharp beak. They are bird-like Pokémon with two legs. They have bristly feathers covering their backs and both of their heads.
They weigh around 39.2 kilograms or 86.4 pounds. They are 1.4 meters tall with a Medium-Fast leveling rate. Their males have black necks, while females have brown necks. The male necks are much more flexible.
Both genders have brown-colored legs. Each foot has four digits, and each digit ends in a very sharp claw. Even though both heads have identical brains, it is believed that sometimes their brains differ.
Their two heads communicate with each other at all times. They use telepathy for all communication and coordination between them. Even when they are sleeping or eating, one of their heads keeps an eye out for enemies. This ability makes Doduo a vigilant Pokémon.
As their wings are almost non-existent, Doduo is not an excellent or frequent flyer. Therefore, they do not try to fly as much as well. However, their strong legs help them be powerful runners.
They can run at speeds up to 60mph or 96.5 km/h. They energetically run across plains and fields. They also leave large footprints behind that may be up to 4-inch long.
They maintain their balance while running by lowering both of their heads down. It helps them in vision as well as coordination.
