Wartortle

When tapped on its head, this Pokémon will pull it in, but its tail will still stick out a little bit.

Characteristics

Wartortle is a two-legged blue Pokémon that looks like a turtle. It has brown eyes, two sharp teeth on its upper jaw, and a dark blue stripe on each cheek. It has 3 fingers and fine toes. On each side of its head are ears that look like feathers. They are covered in blue fur.

It has a brown shell that is on its back. Underneath it is yellow and a white line around the shell’s edge. An older Wartortle may have scars. Algae grow on their shells. The tail can’t be entirely hidden in the shell. It is wavy and light blue at the end, with thin but not soft fur. The tail of this Pokémon will darken as it gets older. It is popular with the elderly because it symbolizes good luck and longevity. Because they have a larger shell and are bigger than Squirtles, Wartortles have difficulty walking on land. In water, their balancing is not as good. Wartortle swims by using its ears, tail, and feet. These things help it balance while swimming fast. It can hold air in its fur and stay underwater for a long time. It hides underwater, especially while it is hunting. It likes to live in ponds and lakes, whereas it can also be found on islands. Its signature move used to be Skull Bash.
