Geodude

Geodude are dual-type Pokémon. They were first introduced in Generation I. They are both Rock-type and Ground-type Pokémon. They evolve into Graveler, starting at level 25. Graveler further evolves into Golem upon trading.

In Alola, Geodude have an Alolan form. Their Alolan forms are Electric-type. They evolve into Alolan Graveler, which further evolves into Alolan Golem. They are mostly found on mountain trails.

Characteristics

Geodude is brownish-gray in color. They have a bulging body, rocky eyebrows, and trapezoid-shaped eyes. Their mouths are quite big and wide. They weigh around 20 kilograms or 44 pounds and are 0.4 meters tall.

Their Alolan forms weigh approximately 20.3 kilograms or 44.8 pounds. They use their steady arms to climb mountain paths and have no problems climbing steep mountains. However, due to their rocky appearance, Rhyperiors often mistake them for boulders and fire them through their hands.

Geodude are proud of their bodies. They are often seen participating in contests to see whose bodies are harder. They may also compare themselves with other species, such as Roggenrolas and Carbinks.

Their bodies become more chipped and worn with time. Older Geodude are calmer and have smoother bodies. There may be up to 100 Geodude in a single mountain trail. If someone accidentally steps on them, they swing their arms in anger.

When they sleep deep, they bury themselves halfway into the ground. They are often seen rolling downhill, searching for food. Alolan Geodude is made from magnetic rocks and has a silvery appearance.

Their magnetic body attracts objects like iron sand and can create the appearance of black eyebrows and strands of hair. Their fingers are fused, and only their thumb and index fingers are free.

They compete with other Pokémon by bashing their bodies together. Alolan Golem fire Alolan Geodude if rocks are not present.
