Tentacruel

Tentacruel are dual-type Pokémon. They were first introduced during Generation I. They are both water-type and Poison-type Pokémon.

They evolve from Tentacool starting from level 30 onwards and are the final stage of their Pokémon line. They are known to live in underwater rock formations. You can find them throughout the ocean.

Characteristics

Tentacruel are large Pokémon that look like Jellyfish. They have a light blue-colored body. They weigh around 55 kilograms or 121 pounds and are 1.6 meters tall. They have two huge, red orbs on either side of their body and a smaller red orb in the center of their head.

Their orbs can be mistaken for their eyes. Their eyes lie in the lower round body and are visible. Their lower round body is black. They have two appendages that look like beaks. They also have many gray tentacles below their lower body.

Their red orbs glow whenever they are excited or agitated. It helps them communicate with other Tentacruel. They alert their fellows when they find themselves in dangerous situations by flashing their orbs.

Their orbs can also refract sunlight, store energy, and emit ultrasonic waves. They are very angry Pokémon if their enemy tempts them. Tentacruel has light blue bodies that help them camouflage in the water. They have 80 tentacles.

These tentacles can extend in size and help them hunt. Once they capture their prey, they form a net around them. Their tentacles can stretch even further if they absorb water. Most of their tentacles are hidden away.

Tentacruel may also lose tentacles as they grow older. Tentacruel is rarely spotted, but once they gather in large groups, they can scare away nearby Pokémon.
