Pokémon Description

This Pokemon uses its psychic powers while it sleeps. The contents of Abra’s dreams affect the powers that the Pokemon wields.

Abra can teleport in its sleep. Apparently the more deeply Abra sleeps, the farther its teleportations go.

Abilities

    • Synchronize

Whenever this Pokemon is burned, paralyzed, or poisoned, the Pokemon who gave this Pokemon that ailment is also given the ailment. This ability passes back bad poison when this Pokemon is badly poisoned. This ability cannot pass on a status ailment that the Pokemon did not directly receive from another Pokemon, such as the poison from toxic spikes or the burn from a flame orb. Overworld: If the lead Pokemon has this ability, wild Pokemon have a 50% chance of having the lead Pokemon's nature, and a 50% chance of being given a random nature as usual, including the lead Pokemon's nature. This does not work on Pokemon received outside of battle or roaming legendaries.

    • Inner-Focus

      This Pokemon cannot flinch.

Hidden Abilities

    • Magic-Guard

This Pokemon is immune to damage not directly caused by a move. For example, this Pokemon takes no damage from from weather, recoil, status ailments, or spikes, but it still suffers from the Attack cut when burned, and a life orb will still power up this Pokemon's moves without damaging it. Anything that directly depends on such damage will also not happen; for example, leech seed will neither hurt this Pokemon nor heal the opponent, and Pokemon with a jaboca berry or rowap berry will not consume the berry when hit by this Pokemon. The following are unaffected: struggle, pain split (whether used by or against this Pokemon), belly drum, substitute, curse, moves that knock the user out, and damage from confusion. This Pokemon will neither lose nor regain HP if it drains HP from a Pokemon with liquid ooze. If this Pokemon is badly poisoned, the poison counter is still increased each turn; if the Pokemon loses this ability, it will begin taking as much damage as it would be if it had been taking increasing damage each turn.

  I'm feeling lucky!

Abra

Abra are psychic-type Pokémon. They were first discovered in Generation I. Abra evolved into Kadabra starting at Level 16, which further evolved into Alakazam upon trading. They are usually found living in urban areas but can teleport.

Characteristics:

Abra is yellow-colored Pokémon. Their faces are kite-shaped. They weigh about 19.5 kilograms or 43 pounds and are about 0.9 meters tall. Their gender ratios are 75% male to 25% female.

Their face has a small yellow snout with two pointed ears with yellow interiors. Their eyes are wide, but they are typically closed. Their bodies are segmented. Black skin is showing between their joints and along their necks.

Their shoulders contain two pauldron-shaped extensions that are brown. They have three digits on their hands and feet. Two of their toes face forward, while the third one faces backward.

Their tails are thin and very long. They have a brown band located near the tip of their tails.

As psychic Pokémon, Abra can sense danger through their telepathic radars. So whenever they pick up a threat on their radar, they teleport to a safe location.

However, they may panic if they wake up in an unknown place to which they teleported. They can hypnotize themselves. This helps when teleporting during sleep. Deep sleep allows them to teleport farther.

They sleep for over 18 hours a day. If they do not get enough rest each day, they cannot use their telepathic powers properly. Their dreams also affect their powers. Abra teleport to a different location every hour.
