Abilities

    • Intimidate

When this Pokemon enters battle, the opponent's Attack is lowered by one stage. In a double battle, both opponents are affected. This ability also takes effect when acquired during a battle, but will not take effect again if lost and reobtained without leaving battle. This ability has no effect on an opponent that has a substitute. Overworld: If the first Pokemon in the party has this ability, any random encounter with a Pokemon five or more levels lower than it has a 50% chance of being skipped.

    • Flash-Fire

This Pokemon is immune to fire-type moves. Once this Pokemon has been hit by a Fire move, its own Fire moves will inflict 1.5× as much damage until it leaves battle. This ability has no effect while the Pokemon is frozen. The Fire damage bonus is retained even if the Pokemon is frozen and thawed or the ability is lost or disabled. Fire moves will ignore this Pokemon's substitute. This ability takes effect even on non-damaging moves, i.e. will o wisp.

Hidden Abilities

    • Justified

Whenever a dark-type move hits this Pokemon, its Attack rises one stage. The move is not negated in any way.

  I'm feeling lucky!

Arcanine

Arcanine are fire type Pokémon. They were initially introduced during Generation I. Arcanine evolved from Growlithe when exposed to Fire Stone. They are usually seen living in prairies and inside volcanoes.

Characteristics

Arcanine is an orange, dog-like Pokémon. They have four legs. They have black stripes on their bodies. Their ears are shaped like a diamond and have beige insides. They have a black nose and two large teeth on their front jaw.

Their head, muzzle, and chest are covered in shaggy fur. This fur is beige. They have very long fur growing behind their elbows and ankles. The underside of their body is black, and they possess a beige tail bent in the middle.

Their paws have three toes and a round, pink-colored pad in the middle. They are relatively large and weigh around 155 kilograms or 341 pounds. They are about 1.9 meters tall.

Their leveling rate is prolonged, and their species are male dominant, with over 75 percent of the Arcanine being male.

Arcanine is a very fierce and loyal Pokémon. They can run about ten thousand kilometers or 6,200 miles in one day. They are swift, and their speed is their signature move.

They have been known for their beauty and speed. The source of their powers is a flame that is growing inside them. They stash their food in their mane and carry it to their nest for their young ones.
