Unable to survive in hot areas, it makes itself comfortable by breathing out air cold enough to cause snow. It burrows into the snow to sleep.

Supposedly, this Pokemon was born from an icicle. It spews out freezing air at −58 degrees Fahrenheit to make itself more comfortable.

- Ice-Body
  This Pokemon heals for 1/16 of its maximum HP after each turn during hail, and it does not take hail damage regardless of type.
- Snow-Cloak
  During hail, this Pokemon has 1.25× its evasion, and it does not take hail damage regardless of type. The evasion bonus does not count as a stat modifier. Overworld: If the lead Pokemon has this ability, the wild encounter rate is halved in snow.

- Weak-Armor
  Whenever a physical move hits this Pokemon, its Speed rises one stage and its Defense falls one stage. This ability triggers on every hit of a multiple-hit move.
