Golduck

Golduck is special water-type Pokémon. They were first introduced in Generation I. They evolve from Psyducks starting at Level 33. They typically live in lakes and other water bodies.

Characteristics:

Golduck is blue colored Pokémon. They look like ducks or platypuses. They have red eyes and a cream-colored beak. They also have a red gem present in the middle of their forehead.

They are relatively large Pokémon, weighing 76 kilograms or around 169 pounds. They are 1.7 meters tall. They also possess four spikes on the back of their heads.

Their body has a unique shape to adapt to the water. They use their distinctive tails to steer their way in the water. Golducks are often mistaken for the Japanese monster Kappa. Kappa was the inspiration for Golduck’s looks.

They have a human-like body shape and webbed hands and feet. They also have a distinct beak.

Golduck are fast swimmers. They can swim faster than the fastest human swimmers and athletes. Golduck can often be seen rescuing humans from the sea during shipwrecks.

They possess psychic powers. The red gems present on their foreheads are indicators of these powers. Whenever a Golduck uses these powers, the gems on their forehead glow.

Golduck was hunted a lot in the past because it believed this gem gave people psychic powers. Golduck can give psychic abilities to their trainers as well. They hunt fish as prey. Golduck is angry Pokémon, and they take away those who threaten their territories.
