Abilities

    • Shield-Dust

This Pokemon is immune to the extra effects of moves used against it. An extra effect is a move's chance, listed as an "effect chance", to inflict a status ailment, cause a stat change, or make the target flinch in addition to the move's main effect. For example, thunder shock's paralysis is an extra effect, but thunder wave's is not, nor are knock off's item removal and air cutter's increased critical hit rate.

    • Tinted-Lens

This Pokemon deals twice as much damage with moves that are not very effective against the target.

Hidden Abilities

    • Wonder-Skin

Non-damaging moves have exactly 50% base accuracy against this Pokemon.

Venomoth

Venomoth is dual-type Pokémon. They are bug type and poison type Pokémon, which were first introduced in Generation I.

They evolve from Venonat at level 31. They live in dense temperate forests with thick trees. It is stated in Pokémon Adventures that Venomoth has a very short lifespan.

Characteristics:

Venomoth is an insect-like Pokémon. They weigh around 12.5 kilograms or 27 pounds and are almost 1.5 meters tall. They have many shades of purple on their body. Their head and body are light purple, and they have watery blue eyes.

They have a small mandible and a three-point crest on their head. Their upper body has six legs tucked in that are white. There are several zig-zag lines on their stomachs.

Their most distinctive feature is their pair of wings. They have moth-like wings with thin black ventilation on their backs. They have dust-like scales, and they do not have a specified color. The color of Venomoth’s wings changes based on their toxicity.

If the color of their scales is light, they are not that harmful. But if the color of their scales is dark, they are very toxic. This is because Venomoth releases venom on their prey when they contact their skin.

They hunt their prey at night time. Their prey is attracted to light sources, and they gather around them. It helps make the process of looking for a meal easier. Venomoth is also attracted to light sources.
