Venonat

Venonat is a dual type Pokémon. It is a bug type and poison type Pokémon. It evolves into Venomoth at level 31.

Venonat is first introduced in Generation I. They mostly live in dense temperate forests.

Characteristics:

Venonat is insect-like Pokémon. They have a spherical body like a ball, covered in purple fur. Their purple fur releases toxic liquids that spread when they shake their bodies. They weigh around 30 kilograms or 65 pounds and are one meter tall.

Their mouth is pink with two teeth that look like pincers. They have two feet and two very small paws. Their hands and feet are a bit tanned. Venonat also has white antennae coming out from the top of their heads.

However, the most important feature of Venonat is its compound red eyes. They use their highly developed eyes to shoot powerful beams at their prey.

Venonat sleeps through the day in tree holes of trees in temperate forests. They live in very dense woods. They like to hunt at night because it feeds on small insects that only appear to them.

These insects are tiny in size and the preferred prey for Venonat, hence why they are willing to sleep through the day and stay up during the night to prey on them.

Venonat is attracted to bright lights at night, and so are their prey. It helps them locate their game better.
