Whenever a move makes contact with this Pokémon, the move's user has a 30% chance of being paralyzed, poisoned, or put to sleep, chosen at random. Nothing is done to compensate if the move's user is immune to one of these ailments; there is simply a lower chance that the move's user will be affected.

Parasect

Parasect is a dual-type Pokémon that was first introduced in Generation I. It is both a bug-type and a grass-type Pokémon.

They develop from Paras at level 24. They are known to thrive in dark forest regions.

Characteristics

Parasect is a relatively large Pokémon weighing close to 30 kilograms or 65 pounds. They are about a meter tall. Parasect has a rustic orange color. They are insect-like with segments in their body. They have a very big mushroom on their back.

That mushroom is a fully grown form of Tochukaso. It covers most of their back. Parasect has a very small head with white eyes. They have six legs, with the front pair having large pincers. Their mushroom is red with yellow spots all over it.

Parasect does not have many nutrients, and the giant Tochukaso controls them on their backs. If anyone removes the mushroom, parasect stop moving. They live in dark forests because they have the right humidity for the Tochukaso.

They infest trees and take all of their nutrition. Parasect is famous for fighting with Shiinotic over territories. They are not very active Pokémon. They do not fight a lot of Pokémon or humans.

They spend their time looking for food and shelter for the Tochukaso on their backs. Their habitat helps them stay protected from a lot of predators.

Many predators mistake Parasect to be mushrooms instead of Pokémon. As a result, collectors are often hunting them for their Tochukaso’s medicinal importance.
