Zubat

Japanese: ズバット Zubat

Zubat is a dual-type Pokémon that first came in Generation I. They are a poison and flying type of Pokémon.

They are the first of their kind. Zubat evolves into Golbat at level 22. Golbat then evolves into Crobat with a high level of friendship. They are abundant in cave-like areas.

Characteristics

Zubat is a Pokémon that looks like a bat. They do not have eyes. Instead, they have distinct features like pointed purple ears, sharp pairs of teeth in their jaws, and purple wings. Both males and females have fangs, but the fangs of male Zubat are larger.

Their wings have two long fingers and two tails. They are relatively small in size, weighing only about seven and a half kilograms or 17 pounds and only 0.8 meters in height. Their gender ratio is 50 percent male and 50 percent female.

Zubat lives in dark caves and has evolved itself. They have no eyes or nostrils. They move around the dark caves by using echolocation. They do not have a problem moving around as they are used to it.

Zubat seeks their prey with their group at night. It is shown in the amine as well. In the daytime, Zubats sleep in their caves. When they are sleeping, they like to hang themselves upside down. Daylight is very harmful to these Pokémon. It can burn their skin if they stay under the sun for too long.

On the other hand, if a Zubat is caught by a trainer and trained to be in the sun, the sunlight will not cause damage to their skin. This is because Zubat species living in colder areas like to live in herds to stay warm.
