Charmander

The flame at the tip of its tail makes a sound as it burns. You can only hear it in quiet places.

Charmander is a Pokémon that is a type of fire. It belongs to Generation I. It changes into Charmeleon at level 16 and Charizard at level 36.

There are three starter Pokémon in Kanto. They are Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle. Charmander is one of them. They all are available at the beginning of Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, FireRed, and LeafGreen.

Characteristics

Charmander is a type of Pokémon. It has orange skin and blue eyes. Its underbelly and feet are cream-colored.

It has two small teeth visible on the top of its mouth and two smaller teeth visible on the bottom. A fire burns at the tip of this Pokémon’s tail and has been burning since Charmander was born.

The flame on Charmander’s tail shows how it is feeling. If the flame is significant, then it means that Charmander is feeling good. If the flame is small, then it means that Charmander’s not feeling well.

When the flame is wavering, it means Charmander is thrilled, but when the flame is blazing strongly, Charmander is angry. Some people say that Charmander will die if its flame goes out. But they are wrong. If the Pokémon is healthy, the flame will burn even if it gets wet.

It is even said that it can steam in the rain. You can find Charmander in hot, mountainous areas. Trainers usually have Charmander. In Pokémon Snap, they have seen that if you give Charmander food, it will call other Charmander to come and eat too.
