Abilities

    • Flash-Fire

This Pokémon is immune to fire-type moves. Once this Pokémon has been hit by a Fire move, its own Fire moves will inflict 1.5× as much damage until it leaves battle. This ability has no effect while the Pokémon is frozen. The Fire damage bonus is retained even if the Pokémon is frozen and thawed or the ability is lost or disabled. Fire moves will ignore this Pokémon's substitute. This ability takes effect even on non-damaging moves, i.e. will o wisp.

Hidden Abilities

    • Drought

The weather changes to strong sunlight when this Pokémon enters battle and does not end unless cancelled by another weather condition. If multiple Pokémon with this ability, drizzle, sand stream, or snow warning are sent out at the same time, the abilities will activate in order of Speed, respecting trick room. Each ability's weather will cancel the previous weather, and only the weather summoned by the slowest of the Pokémon will stay.

  I'm feeling lucky!

Vulpix

Vulpix is a fire-type Pokémon that was first introduced in Generation I. When Vulpix is exposed to a Fire Stone, it turns into Ninetales. They are mostly found in areas like grasslands and plains.

Characteristics

Vulpix is a small Pokémon, weighing only about 10 kilograms. They look like foxes and are red-colored with a cream-colored belly.

They have four legs to walk around, and their paws are darker than the rest of their body. They have brown patches inside the body and a nose like a fox. They have orange curled bangs on their head with orange tails.

Vulpix is born with one whitetail. That tail grows and splits as Vulpix grows, and once it reaches a mature age, they have six tails. Their tails grow hotter with time.

Their eggs hatch 75% females and 25% males. They are very fast when they move. Vulpix has a special power to make wisps of fire. These wisps are so magical that humans think that they see a ghost.

Vulpix use these wisps to catch prey. They have a flame inside their body that never dies. They use that flame to throw fire from their mouths. When the temperature gets very hot, Vulpix spits fire from their mouth to not overheat themselves.

Another common fact about Vulpix is that sometimes when they face an opponent too big for them, they pretend to be injured to escape a fight. Their intelligence and quick reflexes make them true foxes.
