Venusaur

The flower on its back catches the sun’s rays. The sunlight is then absorbed and used for energy. A plant on its back grows larger as it matures and provides protection for this difficult-to-catch Pokémon. Venusaur is a type of Pokémon that is both grass and poison. It was introduced in Generation I. Bulbasaur can become Ivysaur when leveled up to level 32. Venusaur has three forms. It can become a Mega Venusaur with the use of a Venusaurite. It also has a different form called Gigantamax, introduced on The Isle of Armor.

Characteristics

Venusaur is a four-legged Pokémon with bumpy blue-green skin. It has small red eyes, a short mouth, and sharp teeth, two at the top and four at the bottom of its mouth. Venusaur has small, pointed ears that are pink on the inside. It has three toes on each foot. There’s a flower on its back that grows from a bud. The flower is brown and white with pink spots. A Venusaur will have a seed in the center of its flower when it is female. Like plants, Venusaur uses its flower to catch sunlight and gain energy. This makes the flower more vibrant. The flower’s nice scent attracts Pokémon and calms people’s emotions. The scent becomes stronger after it rains. Venusaur can control nature, release vines from its back, and lead evolution ceremonies for Bulbasaur in the anime. Pokémon live in the grass and are not often seen in the wild. When Venusaur becomes Mega Venusaur, it looks different.

First, the flower is bigger, and there are two more flowers when it grows. There is one on its forehead and one on its backside. It causes more weight on its legs because of the thick stems and leaves. More flowers are added to its body when it is transformed into Gigantamax Venusaur. The eye color also changes to orange and light green. As more flowers grow, it is covered in more leaves as well. From the sprout, three red petal-like clouds emerge that surround it. Light green spots on the belly are also observed. During an attack, the petals act as a shield. The vines are robust and can even break down a big building. Sometimes they spread pollen like in an explosion of a volcano. It causes breathing problems and sneezing. It can make a lot of plants grow where the pollen lands. The move is called G-Max, and only Gigantamax Venusaur can do this. This move is called the Signature Move. It is the only Pokémon that can use the G-Max move and vine lash.
