All other Pokémon's single-target electric-type moves are redirected to this Pokémon if it is an eligible target. Other Pokémon's Electric moves raise this Pokémon's Special Attack one stage, negating any other effect on it, and cannot miss it. If the move's intended target also has this ability, the move is not redirected. When multiple Pokémon with this ability are possible targets for redirection, the move is redirected to the one with the highest Speed stat, or, in the case of a tie, to a random tied Pokémon. follow me takes precedence over this ability. If the Pokémon is a ground-type and thus immune to Electric moves, its immunity prevents the Special Attack boost.

Pikachu

Pikachu is an Electric-type Pokémon that was initially introduced in Generation I.

Pichu evolves into Raichu when fed a Thunder Stone and grows stronger when raised with a high level of friendship.

When Pikachu is exposed to a Thunder Stone in Alola, it will transform into Alolan Raichu.

Pikachu has a form called Gigantamax. It is the mascot of the Pokémon franchise and Nintendo’s mascot.

Pikachu is also the first Pokémon in Pokémon Rumble Blast and Pokémon Rumble World.

Characteristics

Pikachu is a little and plump Pokémon that resembles a mouse. There are two horizontal brown stripes on its back as well as yellow fur on its body. It has a little mouth and long ears with black edges. Its cheeks have a red spot that contains a small pocket to store electricity. Its eyes are brown. It has very short hands, as if it doesn’t have any arms but has five complete tiny fingers.

Similarly, its feet are also small, with three fingers on each. Its tail looks like a bolt. Female Pikachu’s tail looks like the top of a heart. It falls into a four-legged Pikachu, but it can easily walk and stand on two legs.

Pikachu lives in forests in groups. They communicate with their unique sharp voice and play their tails. They use electricity to send messages to other Pokémon. Several Pikachu can bring lightning storms. They can eat and damage telephone poles, electric wires, and electronic devices.

Sleeping is a charging time for Pikachu. It can also radiate electric energy, which is usually emitted from its tails. They can recharge other Pikachu with their electric energy. The signature move of Pikachu is Volt Tackle, which they can use to recharge themselves.

Pikachu has three different forms:

  • Cosplay Pikachu: From Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire
  • Pikachu in a cap: From event-exclusive Pokémon in Generation VII.
  • Partner Pikachu: From Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!

Gigantamax Pikachu is a larger and bulkier form of Pikachu. It is easy to store electricity in its tail so that it will glow with bright yellow light. Gigantamax Pikachu energy becomes nearly equal to the power plant but retains it for a very short time.

Pikachu can use Z-Move Catastopika. Pikachu with cap also has a Z-Move and a 10,000,000 volt thunderbolt.

Partner Pikachu can use Zippy Zap, Foalty Fall, Splishy Splash, and Partner Power, Pika Papow. In addition, Gigantamax Pikachu can use G-Max Move and G-Max Volt Crash.
