Corsola

Corsola Pokemon has two types. Water and Rock. It belongs to generation II. It doesn’t evolve from or into any other Pokemon type. However, it has a ghost-type in the Galar region, where it evolves to become Cursola at level 38.

Characteristics

Corsola is a tiny pokemon. The body of this Pokemon is round, with several protrusions growing from it. There is a single horn on its forehead. It has a pink body, black eyes, and thin lips. The bottom side of its body is white. It has four small legs and two arms.

It lives in warm areas near clean water. Whenever it lives in dirty water, it reflects on its body, causing its color to fade and the growth of its protrusions to decrease. As a result, it tends to degenerate and regenerate its body periodically in a healthy state.

In just one night, it is capable of regenerating its entire body. It lives in groups. These groups can become so large that people cannot find space to live. Its horn is used in jewelry for ornamental purposes, as illustrated in the anime.

In Alola, Corsola worries about getting attacked by Mareanie and Toxapex. So, to protect itself from its enemy, it tries to snap its branches off to divert the attention of its predators from the danger it faces. Nevertheless, Mereanie and Toxapex do not attack Corsola in the Galar region.

In the Galar region, Corsolas have been destroyed by climate change, becoming ghost-type Pokemon. The body looks bleached, entirely white, with pink eyes, and it seems as if it’s constantly frowning.

Its arms and legs become semi-transparent. It is common to find them in the remains of ancient seas, and even if you accidentally kick them, they will curse you. It absorbs life force and consumes spirit energy. As a result of this diet, Corsola’s shell breaks, its body becomes non-physical, and its spirit energy manifests, completing its transition into Cursola.
