Raticate

Raticate is a Pokémon of the Normal-type introduced in Generation I.

Level 20 marks the beginning of its evolution from Rattata.

Raticate has dual regional forms: Dark and Normal in Alola. At level 20, it evolves from Alolan Rattata after leveling up at night. Likewise, it grows from the Alolan Rattata at level 20 in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu, and Let’s Go, Eevee.

Characteristics

Raticate is a Pokémon that looks like a rodent. It is primarily tawny and has cream undersides. In addition to its black eyes and ragged ears, it has large teeth that grow constantly. Each side of its face has three whiskers. Three fingers on each arm and three toes on each foot allow him to swim. The tail is long and has rings. Female Raticates have short whiskers.

To intimidate its enemy, it turns against its feet, extends its fangs, and screams when threatened. It can also fight bigger enemies than him. It has strong teeth that can tear steal. Its teeth constantly grow, so he must keep rubbing and biting something to wear down the excess growth. If nothing else, it can start chewing walls and concrete. Hyper Fang and Super Fang are also performed with their large incisors. Typically, this Pokémon lives on plains and grasslands.

Due to its urban environment and higher calorie diet, Raticate has become heavier and darker in Alola. It has black fur with little furs coming out of his belly. The ears are dark brown from the inside. Hands, feet, cheeks, and tail are of dirty cream color. It has four whiskers below its chin, three coming out from each cheek.

However, its eyes are now red, and its incisors are still visible. Foraging for food is generally left up to the Alolan Rattata it commands. It prefers to remain in its nest and eat while the Alolan Rattata goes out to forage. WhileIts hind feet are webbed. They act as flippers,
so they can swim in rivers and hunt for prey. It eats various foods and prefers fresh, high-quality foods like fruit. Raticate has helped a high-class restaurant exploit its selectivity by bringing it along with it when buying ingredients and tasting new dishes.
