Quagsire

Japanese: ヌオー Nuoh

Quagsire hunts for food by leaving its mouth wide open inwater and waiting for its prey to blunder in unaware. Because if the Pokémon does not move, it does not get very hungry.

Quagsires are dual-type Pokémon. They are both water-type and ground-type Pokémon. They evolve from Wooper starting from Level 20.

Characteristics

Quagsires are large, light-blue Pokémon. They weigh around 75 kilograms or 165.3 pounds. They are 1.4 meters tall with a Medium Fast leveling rate. They are amphibious, meaning that they dwell on both land and water. Their head is broad and round. They have a little neck to distinguish between their head and body.

They have wide mouths and tiny, black eyes. Their nostrils appear as dots and are very small. A wavy, purple stripe runs down their back. They have a dark-blue fin along their spine. This fin is larger in males as compared to females. Their hands and feet both have three digits. The outer layer of their skin is slimy and slippery.

They are carefree and sluggish Pokémon. They are not intelligent and do not care about injuring themselves due to their carelessness. They often bump their head while swimming around. They hunt for food by leaving their mouth open in water and waiting for their prey to blunder in without knowing.

As they do not move around a lot, they can wait for their food and do not have to make an effort to hunt all the time. They live in clean bodies of freshwater and swamps. They have an annual celebration at Blue Moon Falls on full moon nights.

They shoot round objects that they have collected to the top of the waterfall with their attacks to see who can launch their objects at
