Skiploom

Skiploom is a Generation II dual-type pokemon with both Grass and Flying forms. It is the evolved form of Hoppip on reaching level 18. It further evolves into Jumpluff on reaching level 27.

Characteristics

Skiploom is green plant-type pokemon with short, rounded bodies. They have long, flat ears on each side of their head. The head also has red elliptical eyes without any pupils. A yellow flower is present on his head with a white center.

Skiploom can open or close the flower’s petals on top of its head according to the changes in temperatures. Therefore, it is often taken as a thermometer. The flower blooms fully when the temperature reaches 64 degrees Fahrenheit or 18 degrees celsius.

The spread-out petals aim to absorb as much sunlight as possible. It opens its flower and flies towards the sun. But closes it and seeks shelter as soon as it starts raining. It likes to live in temperate grasslands. The flower cans also rotate clockwise.
