Hoppip

Japanese: ハネッコHanecco

Hoppip is a Generation II dual-type pokemon with both Grass and Flying types. It evolves at level 18 into Skiploom, which becomes Jumpluff at level 27.

Characteristics

Hoppip is a plant-type pokemon with a pink-rounded body. It has two green leaves growing out of its head with ragged borders similar to a dandelion. It has short, pink, chubby arms and legs and a short stunted tail with a rounded end.

The feet have a circular yellow pad underneath. It also has big triangular ears, which are black on the inside. Besides, yellow bead-like eyes are also present, which do not have a pupil.

As Hoppip is a flying type pokemon, it has a light body that can easily lift in the air. Hence, Hoppip gathers together and clutter their leaves while holding the ground firmly with their feet to avoid being blown away by strong winds. This prevents them from being drifted away by strong winds. However, Hoppip enjoys a light breeze.

Hoppip prefers living in temperate grasslands. However, some may be found in fields, mountains, and other urban environments.
