Sudowoodo

Japanese: ウソッキー Usokkie

Sudowoodo is a Generation II rock-type pokemon that evolved from Bonsly. The evolution occurs when Bonsly learns to perform Mimic–a type of move Sudowoodo does.

Sudowoodo can be seen blocking the inconvenient roads in Johto and Hoenn in Generation II. To wake him up for a battle, the trainer has to spray it with water from either a Wailmer Pail or Squirt Bottle.

Characteristics

Sudowoodo is a rock-type pokemon that looks like a tree. It has a brown cylindrical body with yellow spots. The legs are short with no fingers. It has three fingers in each hand, holding big green spheres. It also has several branches on its head. It looks like a crown. This crown is shorter in females and longer in males. In Generation II, his signature move is Mimic.

Sudowoodo can camouflage as a tree and hide in case of a threat or an attack. However, it cannot do this in winters when trees shed their leaves as the sphere on his hands remains green. Sudowoodo hates water; it makes it weak.

Therefore, when it rains, he leaves his camouflage and runs for shelter. It can stay still for a very long time and has a strong body. It lives in the forests and is very popular among the elderly due to its arm’s length and angle.
