Azumarill

Japanese: マリルリ Marilli

Azumarill is a Generation II pokemon that exists in two forms: water and fairy. It has a pure water type before Generation VI. At level 18, it evolves from Marill and is the ultimate form of Azurill.

Characteristics

Azumarill is a blue egg-shaped water pokemon that resembles a hare. It has an overall blue body with a bubble pattern, except for a white lower portion. The blue color and the bubble pattern help it hide in the water. It has long rabbit-like ears, which are blue on the outside, and red on the inside.

It can roll these ears to prevent them from becoming wet. It also has small black eyes and short hands and legs without fingers. Moreover, it also has a black zig-zag tail with a blue bubble at the end which glows when it is excited or attacks.

Azumarill lives in rivers and lakes, where they spend their entire day. When listening to or watching any pokemon or Azurill drowning, they make a bubble of air for them to breathe. Their long hare-like ears allow them to listen to soft sounds from afar, even underwater: allowing them to listen to the prey approaching in the wild, fast-flowing rivers and act accordingly.
