Ampharos

Japanese: デンリュウ Denryu)

Ampharos is an electric-type Pokémon. It belongs to Generation II. It evolves from Flaaffy at level 30. It’s the final form of Mareep.

Ampharos can Mera-evolve into Mega Ampharos using the Ampharosite.

It was first launched in 1997 in CoroCoro with Donphan and Slowking.

Characteristics

Ampharos pokemon looks like a sheep. It has a yellow body and a white stomach. It has short pointy ears with black rings on them. It has a glowing red ball on its head and the tip of its tail.

Ampharos has an elongated neck with thick black rings around it. It has short arms and legs with one white nail on each foot. The tail is long, conical, and slightly curvy, with three black rings.

The glowing ball on its tail is so bright that you can detect it from space. People use this light to send signals at far away distances. Ampharos lives in grasslands and farms with Mareep and Flaaffy.

Mega Ampharos toes are black and have bushy wool on its head, neck, and tail using Mega Evolution. It also brings back the dragon’s blood. There are several small red pearls-like balls on its bushy tail. Its ears grow a little longer with a curved tip. The red balls on its tail glow brightly when its body’s electrical energy increases.
