Pidgeotto

It is a dual-type Pokémon of the Normal and Flying types introduced in Generation I. At level 18, it evolves into Pidgey, and at level 36 into Pidgeot.

Characteristics

Pidgeotto is an avian Pokémon similar to a raptor. The cream color complements the brown feathers on its face, underside, and flight feathers. The bird’s head is topped with pink-red feathers, while its black eyes have black, angular markings. Red and yellow feathers alternate in the tail’s plumage with ragged tips. The beak and legs of Piggeotto are pink. Piggeotto has three toes, two facing forward and one facing backward. Aside from its mighty talons, it has sharp claws that let it capture prey.

A Pidgeotto can fly more than a hundred miles to reach its nest with its prey. Exeggcute and Magikarp are among its favorite target Pokémon. Its excellent vision helps it hunt them down. It is also portrayed in the anime preying on Caterpie. Defending its expansive territory of more than 60 miles (100 kilometers) with extreme vigilance, Pidgeotto claims this territory as its own. They usually build their nest in the middle of their region, and during the day, they circle their environment looking for food and intruders. These birds are commonly found in temperate forests. Their former signature moves were Gust and Feather Dance.
