Ariados

Japanese: アリアドス Ariados

Ariado pokemon has two types Bug and Poison. It belongs to generation II. It evolves from Spiranaks at Level 22.

Characteristics

Ariados is a red, spider-like Pokémon. It weighs around 33.5 kilograms or 73.9 pounds and is 1.1 meters tall with a fast leveling rate. It has purple eyes, a pair of white mandibles, and a sharp cone-shaped white horn on its head.

It has two black stripes around its waist. There are two black spots on its rear with a yellow spinneret. The spots and spinneret form a pattern that is similar to a face.

It can produce webs from its mouth and spinneret. It has four yellow legs with purple bands and yellow structures on its back, which are similar to its legs. Its feet are tipped with hooks that allow it to climb vertical walls and ceilings. This specie is 50% males and 50% females.

Ariados are usually seen in temperate and tropical forests. They are nocturnal animals, meaning that they like to stay up during the nighttime. They wander around at night, searching for their prey. They spin a single thread from their rear that leads them back to their nest. When their prey is captured, they wrap them around in thread and attack it with their sharp fangs.

Ariados drink their victim’s body fluids. They are smart Pokémon and often release their prey with a single thread attached to their backs. They then follow this thread to capture their prey and its friends. Ariados are among the only two Pokémon to know the Toxic Thread move. They are also known for the Spider Web move.
