Abilities

    • Insomnia

This Pokémon cannot be asleep. This causes rest to fail altogether. If a Pokémon is asleep and acquires this ability, it will immediately wake up; this includes when regaining a lost ability upon leaving battle. This ability functions identically to vital spirit in battle.

    • Keen-Eye

This Pokémon cannot have its accuracy lowered. This ability does not prevent any accuracy losses other than stat modifiers, such as the accuracy cut from fog; nor does it prevent other Pokémon's evasion from making this Pokémon's moves less accurate. This Pokémon can still be passed negative accuracy modifiers through heart swap. Overworld: If the first Pokémon in the party has this ability, any random encounter with a Pokémon five or more levels lower than it has a 50% chance of being skipped.

Hidden Abilities

    • Tinted-Lens

This Pokémon deals twice as much damage with moves that are not very effective against the target.

  I'm feeling lucky!

Hoothoot

Japanese: ホーホー Hoho

Hoothoot Pokémon has two types, Normal and Flying. It belongs to generation II. It evolves to become Noctowl at Level 20.

Characteristics

Hoothoot pokemon looks like a bird. It weighs about 21.2 kilograms or 46.7 pounds and is 0.7 meters tall with a Medium Fast leveling rate. It resembles an owl and has an overall round body. Most of its feathers are brown, but its belly is cream-colored.

It has big red eyes. Its beak is small and pink. It has tiny wings and three feathers on its tail that appear to be a fan. It has dark black rings around its eyes, and three small lines extend down from the rings surrounding its eyes. Its eyebrows look like a needle of a clock.

In anime, Hoothoot’s become bulkier as it gains lots of feathers on its body and its eyebrows bend down. It got two feet and five fingers on each foot. Despite standing on one foot at a time, it switches between feet so quickly you cannot detect it.

It cries every day at the same time and moves its head in a certain way to sense the earth’s rotation, which helps it to keep track of time.

This unique ability makes it a divine messenger of time in ancient times, but some trainers still use it as a clock to tell the time. Hoothoot lives in trees and warm forests.
