Abilities

    • Pressure

Moves targetting this Pokemon use one extra PP. This ability stacks if multiple targets have it. This ability still affects moves that fail or miss. This ability does not affect ally moves that target either the entire field or just its side, nor this Pokemon's self-targetted moves; it does, however, affect single-targetted ally moves aimed at this Pokemon, ally moves that target all other Pokemon, and opponents' moves that target the entire field. If this ability raises a move's PP cost above its remaining PP, it will use all remaining PP. When this Pokemon enters battle, all participating trainers are notified that it has this ability. Overworld: If the lead Pokemon has this ability, higher-levelled Pokemon have their encounter rate increased.

Hidden Abilities

    • Flame-Body

Whenever a move makes contact with this Pokemon, the move's user has a 30% chance of being burned. Overworld: If any Pokemon in the party has this ability, each egg in the party has its hatch counter decreased by 2 (rather than 1) each step cycle, making eggs hatch roughly twice as quickly. This effect does not stack if multiple Pokemon have this ability or magma armor.

  I'm feeling lucky!

Moltres

Japanese: ファイヤー Fire

Moltres are dual-type Pokémon. They are both fire-type and ice-type Pokémon. They are legendary Pokémon and were first introduced during Generation I. They are not known to evolve from any other Pokémon.

In Galar, they have a dual-type regional form that is dark-type and flying-type form. They are among the three legendary birds of Kanto, along with Zapdos and Articunos.

Characteristics

Moltres are large, bird-like Pokémon. They have golden plumage. They have a long, flowering head crest. Their tail is made from reddish-orange flames. Their wings are also shrouded in fiery plumage. They gain a red glow when they are using their winds.

They have a long, thin neck with a pointed, brown beak. Their eyes are small and triangular. They have thin, brown legs with three forward-facing toes and one backward-facing toe. They also have short talons. They weigh 60 kilograms or 132 pounds and are 2 meters tall.

They shred embers every time they flap their wings. This creates a giant flash of flames. They dip themselves into the magma of active volcanoes and heal themselves. They migrate to the south when spring comes.

It is said that they bring early springtime to cold land. There have been tales about Moltres assisting people who were lost in the mountains, but they are rarely sighted. Sky Attack was their signature move. Galarian Moltres has black and scarlet highlights on their body.

They have sinister energy blazing from within their body, and most Pokémon cannot approach them. They attack their prey by spreading their wings and unleashing their energy in a powerful aura that attacks their foe’s minds, making them fatigue and burn away.
