Snorlax

Japanese: カビゴン Kabigon

Snorlax are normal-type Pokémon. They were first introduced during Generation I. They evolve from Munchlax and are leveled up with high friendships. They also have a Gigantamax form. They are often found living in Mountains and forests.

Characteristics

Snorlax are huge Pokémon with a blue-green body. They have a cream-colored belly, face, and feet. Their limbs are comparatively smaller than the rest of their body. Their head is large with small, pointed ears. Two pointed teeth are protruding from their lower jaw.

They have round feet with three claws in each. Their bulk makes them the heaviest normal-type Pokémon. They weigh around 460 kilograms or 1014 pounds. They are 2.1 meters tall with a slow leveling rate.

Snorlax are very sleepy Pokémon and wake up only to eat. They consume over 400 kilograms or 900 pounds of food and return to their slumber. They are not picky eaters and their strong stomach allows them to consume anything.

They can consume moldy food without feeling any ill effects. They can eat thorny and poisonous plants. They can also eat while they are resting. They let children and small Pokémon bounce on their stomachs. They raid villages to consume food like rice granaries. They are considered a disaster wherever they show up.

Snorlax shows extreme power when they are provoked. As they evolve into Gigantamax Snorlax, Their Seeds and small rocks tangled in their belly fur grow. It causes trees to sprout on their bellies. They rarely move and attack by failing with their arms and legs during battle. They are considered to be the strongest Dynamax Pokémon to ever be discovered.
