    • Pressure

Moves targetting this Pokémon use one extra PP. This ability stacks if multiple targets have it. This ability still affects moves that fail or miss. This ability does not affect ally moves that target either the entire field or just its side, nor this Pokémon's self-targetted moves; it does, however, affect single-targetted ally moves aimed at this Pokémon, ally moves that target all other Pokémon, and opponents' moves that target the entire field. If this ability raises a move's PP cost above its remaining PP, it will use all remaining PP. When this Pokémon enters battle, all participating trainers are notified that it has this ability. Overworld: If the lead Pokémon has this ability, higher-levelled Pokémon have their encounter rate increased.

Aerodactyl

Japanese: プテラ Ptera

Aerodactyls are dual-type Pokémon. They are both Rock-type and Flying-type Fossil Pokémon. They were first introduced during Generation I. They are resurrected from an Old Amber. They are not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon. They can Mega Evolve into Mega Aerofactyle using the Aerodactylite.

Characteristics

Aerodactyles are reptilian Pokémon with several dragon-like features. They have two legs and two large, membranous wings. Their ears are sharp, pointed, and small. They have narrow eyes, a ridged snout, a gaping mouth, and a strong lower jaw.

Their lower jaws are full of sedated fangs. Their body is blue-gray with violet wing membranes. Their hands have claws, allowing them to grasp objects easily. They weigh 59 kilograms or 130 pounds. They are 1.8 meters tall.

They are capable of effortlessly ripping out their enemy’s throats, and their fangs can pierce through the skin of any Pokémon. They let out high-pitched cries while gliding through the skies. They nest in the mountains, enjoying their safety and quiet environment.

As they evolve into Mega Aerodactyl, their eyes turn green, and their body begins to turn into stone. Some researchers believed that their stone-like bodies were their original forms before extinction. They grow larger and sprout spikes all over their body. There are five spikes at their wrist joint in place of their hands.

There are spikes on their chin, ears, and their backs. They weigh 79 kilograms or 174.2 pounds. They are 2.1 meters tall. The spikes on their backs become black and stony. There are stone ornaments present on their chest and torso. Mega Aerodactyls are fiercer than before and attack anything that moves.
