Kabuto

Japanese: カブト Kabuto

Kabutos are dual-type Pokémon. They are both Rock-type and Water-type Pokémon. They were first introduced during Generation I. They are resurrected from a Dome Fossil. They evolve into Kabutops, starting from Level 40.

Characteristics

Kabutos are very small Pokémon with hard and covered bodies. They resemble horseshoe crabs. They are mostly flat, with a protective, brown shell covering their body. They have two small, black eyes on top of their shell. They use the eyes on their shells to see when they hide on the ocean floor.

There is a black structure beneath their shell, which is the main structure of their body. They weigh only 11.5 kilograms or 25.4 pounds. They are 0.5 meters tall with a Medium Fast leveling rate. They have two pairs of short, yellow legs beneath their black structure, which help them move around.

They have a pair of big, red eyes on their underside. Kabutos are fossil Pokémon, and they originally used to live on beaches. They are powerful and fast swimmers. They are believed to be extinct, but isolated populations of Kabutos have been unchanged for over 300 million years. Their fossils are being studied by scientists and are kept in Museums.

Further detail about their behavior is not available to people as they have been extinct for tens of thousands of years. Some people speculate that Kabutos still exist. However, despite these theories, Kabutos have never been spotted alive by anyone.
