This ability has no effect while the Pokemon is frozen. The Fire damage bonus is retained even if the Pokemon is frozen and thawed or the ability is lost or disabled. Fire moves will ignore this Pokemon's substitute. This ability takes effect even on non-damaging moves, i.e. will o wisp.

Flareon

It has a flame chamber inside its body. It inhales, then breathes out fire that is over 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Flareon are fire-type Pokémon. They were first introduced during Generation I. They evolve from Eevee when they are exposed to firestone. They are one of Eevee’s final forms. Other final forms of Eevee include Vaporeon, Espeon, Joltreon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Sylveon, and Glaceon.

Characteristics

Flareon are mammalian Pokémon. They are covered in short fur. Their body fur is reddish-brown with fluffy yellow fur forming small tufts on their head, their bushy tail, as well as the mane around their neck and chests.

They have four legs to move around with three small toes on each foot with a yellow paw pad. Their ears are long and pointed with black interiors. They have black, beady eyes with a small nose.

Their species are mostly male, with only 12.5% of their population being females. They weigh around 25 kilograms or 55.1 pounds. They are 0.9 meters tall with a Medium Fast leveling rate. They fluff out their collars to cool down the temperature.

The high temperature is caused by their internal flame sacs. They store heat inhaled in these sacs and exhale this heat like fire. They are omnivorous Pokémon, meaning they feed on both plants and animals. They like to roast berries or their hunted prey before eating them.

They live in densely populated areas and are loyal to their trainers. As they evolve as a result of an evolution stone, they are rarely found living in the wild.
