Abilities

    • Shield-Dust

This Pokémon is immune to the extra effects of moves used against it. An extra effect is a move's chance, listed as an "effect chance", to inflict a status ailment, cause a stat change, or make the target flinch in addition to the move's main effect. For example, thunder shock's paralysis is an extra effect, but thunder wave's is not, nor are knock off's item removal and air cutter's increased critical hit rate.

Hidden Abilities

    • Run-Away

This Pokémon is always successful fleeing from wild battles, even if trapped by a move or ability.

Weedle

The Pokémon Weedle appeared as a dual-type Bug and Poison in Generation I. After reaching level 7, it evolves into Kakuna, which becomes Beedrill after level 10.

Characteristics

Unlike other larvae, Weedle has segmented bodies varying from yellow to brown. A sphere forms each segment of its body.

Each segment of its body has a red nose, two little black eyes, and spherical feet.

Its red and yellow color scheme creates an unmistakable warning to predators. The venomous stinger on Weedle’s head measures two inches (five centimeters) and is barbed on its tail. In addition to retaliating against attackers, Weedle has a nasty toxin that can injure people who step on it. It has an acute sense of smell to recognize its favorite leaves. Its appetite for leaves is comparable to its weight as a young Bug-type Pokémon. The Weedle is an invasive species found in temperate forests and hides under bushes, grass, or leaves.
