Abilities

    • Intimidate

When this Pokémon enters battle, the opponent's Attack is lowered by one stage. In a double battle, both opponents are affected. This ability also takes effect when acquired during a battle, but will not take effect again if lost and reobtained without leaving battle. This ability has no effect on an opponent that has a substitute. Overworld: If the first Pokémon in the party has this ability, any random encounter with a Pokémon five or more levels lower than it has a 50% chance of being skipped.

    • Anger-Point

Whenever this Pokémon receives a critical hit, its Attack rises to the maximum of 6 stages. This ability will still take effect if the critical hit is received by a substitute.

Hidden Abilities

    • Sheer-Force

This Pokémon's moves with extra effects have 1.3× their power, but lose their extra effects. An effect chance is a move's chance to inflict a status ailment, cause a stat change, or make the target flinch in addition to the move's main effect. For example, thunder shock's paralysis is an extra effect, but thunder wave's is not, nor are knock off's item removal and air cutter's increased critical hit rate. Moves that lower the user's stats are unaffected.

  I'm feeling lucky!

Tauros

Japanese: ケンタロス Kentauros

Tauros are normal-type Pokémon. They were first introduced in Generation I. They are not known to evolve from any other Pokémon but are considered a counterpart of Miltanks. They are found living in plains and grasslands.

Characteristics

Tauros are horse-like Pokémon. They have four legs and are covered in light-brown fur. They have a thick, dark-brown mane around their necks. They have a small, dark-brown nose and three gray bumps running down their forehead.

They are male species with no female counterpart. There is a pair of curved, gray horns on top of their head. They have three tails on their backs. Each of their tails has a tuft of fur on its ends. They have a hard, gray hoof on each foot.

They are large Pokémon and weigh about 88.4 kilograms or 195 pounds. They are 1.4 meters tall with a slow leveling rate. Their behavior is compared to bulls.

Tauros are violent Pokémon. They whip themselves into a frenzy using their three tails. This gesture is used as a warning to others. They proceed to charge with astonishing speed after giving the gesture.

Once Tauros starts charging, they cannot stop or change their course. They only stop when they hit something in their way. They travel in herds and lock horns with other Tauros. The herd’s protector takes pride in their battle-scarred horns.

They are fierce Pokémon, but Alolan Tauros are calmer than other regional forms. It may be due to the region’s climate. The practice of riding Tauros originated in the Alolan region due to their calm nature. Galarian Tauros are very violent and do not prefer to be ridden.
