Jynx

Jynx are dual-type Pokémon. They are both Ice-type and Psychic-type Pokémon. They were first introduced during Generation I. They evolve from Smoochums starting from Level 30. They can be found living in urban areas.

Characteristics

Jynx are human-like Pokémon. They resemble a woman and have a purple face, pink lips, and long blonde hair running down their backs. They have saucer-like eyes. They wear a red gown with two golden circlets on their chest.

They have feet, but 3D games only show blackness under their gowns. Despite this, they can perform the Triple Axe kicking move. They have white arms with five purple-colored fingers in their hands. They weigh around 40.6 kilograms or 89.5 pounds. They are 1.4 meters tall with a Medium Fast leveling rate.

They are female-only species, having no male counterpart. Initially, their face was black, but Pokémon Stadium’s fainting animation showed their face disappear, leaving only darkness around their face.

They have a different language that sounds very similar to human speech. Their speech includes several cry patterns. No one has been able to decipher their speech. They prefer to communicate by dancing and expressing their various feelings with their dance movements. Some musicians often compose songs, especially for Jynx.

Their rhythmic movements can cause people to dance together with them. They are known to have some very unusual powers. Their signature move is called Lovely Kiss. They put their enemies to sleep by this move. Jynx in the Alolan regions have very specific movements.

Certain parts of Galar fear and worship Jynx. They are known as Queen of Ice. Galarian Jynx has beautiful voices and is found humming as they dance. They even have a fanbase in Alolan region.
