Koffing

Japanese: ドガース Dogars

Koffings are Poison-type Pokémon. They evolve into Weezing, starting from Level 35. In Galar Region, Koffings evolve into Galarian Weezings, starting from Level 35. They are primarily found in gas dumps in Urban areas.

Characteristics

Koffings are spherical Pokémon. They are filled with toxic gasses. They have vacant eyes and a vacant mouth with two pointed teeth in their upper jaws. In the anime, it is shown that they have a complete set of teeth.

They have a cream-colored skull with crossbones markings. They have a purple exterior. They have many protrusions on their body. They release a mustard-colored gas from these protrusions.

Their skin is fragile, and extreme inflation can cause Koffings to explode. They are incredibly lightweight Pokémon due to their gaseous composition. They weigh 1.0 kilograms or 2.2 pounds and are 0.6 meters tall. They have a Medium Fast leveling rate.

Koffings create poisonous gasses within their bodies. They do so by mixing toxins with garbage. They produce more gas at high temperatures. The gasses they produce are harmful and cause coughs, sniffles, teary eyes, and less visibility.

The gasses in their bodies are lighter than air. It enables Koffings to hover around in the air. When they are agitated, they create highly toxic gasses and expel them through the holes in their body. Their gasses can be ignited by fire or electricity.

They feed on trash fumes and polluted air. They used to have a vast population in Galar due to factories and their waste. They feed on toxic waste from water plants, factories, trash sites, etc.
