    • Lightning-Rod

All other Pokemon's single-target electric-type moves are redirected to this Pokemon if it is an eligible target. Other Pokemon's Electric moves raise this Pokemon's Special Attack one stage, negating any other effect on it, and cannot miss it. If the move's intended target also has this ability, the move is not redirected. When multiple Pokemon with this ability are possible targets for redirection, the move is redirected to the one with the highest Speed stat, or, in the case of a tie, to a random tied Pokemon. follow me takes precedence over this ability. If the Pokemon is a ground-type and thus immune to Electric moves, its immunity prevents the Special Attack boost.

Cubone

Japanese: カラカラ Karakara

Cubones are ground-type Pokémon. They were first introduced in Generation I. They evolve into Marowaks, starting at level 28. In Alola, Cubones evolve into Alolan Marowak when leveled up at night. They live in rocky areas, usually in caves or mountains.

Characteristics

Cubones are small, dinosaur-like Pokémon. They have a light brown hide that covers most of their body, except their belly. Their bellies are cream-colored. They have two small claws in each hand and two small spikes on their backs and short tails.

They weigh 6.5 kilograms or 14.3 pounds and are 0.4 meters tall. They wear the skull of their dead mother as a helmet on their skull. Due to this helmet, their actual face has never been seen and hence, cannot be described.

They have triangular eyes with black pupils. The skull they wear has two rounded horns on top of them and a tooth-like point on their lower sides. Cubones have a brown snout. Smaller Cubones only survive through their exceptional skills in wielding the bones they carry as weapons.

They are known as the “Lonely Pokémon” because they like to keep to themselves and avoid all social situations. They do so because of trauma caused by the death of their mother. They often weep at night, mourning the loss of their mother.

The skull on their head vibrates, and a plaintive or mournful sound can be heard when they cry. Their cries are especially terrible on the nights of the full moon. They seem to recognize their mother in the full moon and howl in sadness. They evolve into Marowak when they come to terms with their mother’s death.
